Noahs Camp ran this year for the first time in 3 years. It was so very blessed! The presence of God was so tangible in our field and in everything that was happening, all week long.

We had a new security team this year, JAKK security, who made sure we were safe night and day. They were such a lovely firm to deal with and it was great having them.

We had 5 stripy tents this year all from Smiddereens who make their own tents. They are so strong that they wont blow down no matter how windy it gets in the field and it can get very windy! Our main tent was a twin blue and white stripy little top where we all gathered for Mass and where the adults had their input from speakers.

We had two tents for the children, one orange stripy tent and one blue stripy tent. This year the children were led by Nora and Jen and their families who are part of from the Metanoia Project, the children had a fantastic time with them!

Another blue and white tent was our prayer tent where the Blessed Sacrament was reserved in the daytime. A blue tent was our youth tent, led by Peter Donnelly who not only led the youth stream but also proved to be a huge asset for many other things including leading worship, sound and techie stuff!

We were blessed to have two permanent priests with us all week, Father Pat Collins, and Father Chris Dobson. On Wednesday they were joined by Father Barnabas from Newent parish. Our speakers were Father Pat, David Wells and Daniella Stephens who challenged us, encouraged us and in David Wells’ case, made us laugh!

Tomasz came again with his coffee bike. Pizzas were made onsite by Fabionis and were absolutely delicious! Local ice creams from Hillbrooks were on site in the afternoons.

Our theme this year was 'The Lord is my Shepherd' and the Lord was definitely shepherding us all during the camp but also in the months leading up to it. We hope to run Noahs Camp in 2023, so watch this space for more details!

5 fast , fun , faith filled days in which we all delved into our Good Shepherd’s loving embrace.

Metanoia led the two children’s streams and spent a small amount of time with the teenage stream too. We danced, sang, crafted, painted, played games, chatted, ate pizza, ate ice cream, read Scripture, shared prayers, drank hot chocolate, got soaked, dried out in the sunshine, met Jesus in confession, slept in tents, whilst praising our Good God.

We loved getting to know each child, we certainly will continue to pray that they, and their families will always be so open to life saying yes to the Holy Spirit. We saw God’s miracles, signs and wonders, and we’ve come back to Preston feeling encouraged and beautifully blessed. How amazing is God.

This year's camp was smaller than usual but, we would encourage you to consider a trip to Noah’s camp in 2023 - it certainly is a special place. Here is a small snap shot of our time there - as usual we were too busy for photos!

Noah’s Camp 2022 thank you for having us!
